Background : Agriculture; community development; theatre for development. Currently consulting with the National Council of Women Of Kenya on an institutional and capacity building project. Specifically, i am assisiting in the development of a civic education outreach programme for rural women ; and a client-oriented agricultural extension service targetting small-scale women farmers. Also a member of the AISYN coordinating commitee.

Background: I am currently employed as Deputy Director Policy in the Department of Government Communication and Information System (GCIS). I am in involved in the SADC Information Protocol, Media Diversity Policy, e-commerce policy, etc. I was involved in the student movement and other community organisations.

The AYISN is a regional youth information and communication electronic network. Its objective is to facilitate and coordinate the implementation of youth-targeted ICT-programmes in the context of promoting sustainable youth livelihood, education and enterpreneurship opportunities in Africa.

The network will enter into collaborative partnerships with local, regional and international development. partners in the areas of: programme development and implementation; resource mobilization and allocation; policy formulation and advocacy. The UNECA has been proposed as the ideal host of the AYISN, under the AISI. The organising committee is also exploring other avenues of partnership and sponsorship from various NGOs and international development agencies.
