Annual conference
The AYISN will host the 1st Pan African Youth Information Society Conference scheduled for December 1-3 2000 in Gauteng, South Africa. While a lot of groundwork will be done prior to the conference, we expect it to emerge with a concrete  programme of action, which we will implemented at the AYISN level. The conference will inter alia deal with the following issues:

• Youth and the local and global information and communication policies
• Exchange Programmes
• Youth Entrepreneurship, education and livelihoods

Chat room
AISYN's chat room is an active place where you can exchange ideas, share jokes, stories, and experiences with other youth within Africa and from all over the world.

Since the 1970s, people have been joining "mailing lists" to talk about their favorite topics via e-mail! AISYN's owes its genesis to the YBKS-Africa discussion group. You can now join this list to catch up with all the active discussions taking places as well as to view the archives.
